ATV Trails

The place was great for ATVs. We had a couple Yamaha Grizzlies and a Kawasaki Side x Side and they did great on the rocky climbs and knee deep creek plunges.

Some of the roads on the south side of Manti Canyon road were pretty dusty. There was also a part of Skyline Drive that snowed over.


There were veins of brown crystals in the rocks near Loggers Fork Resevoir, I'm curious to know what they are.

There was also some chalk limestone and chert (maybe some flint). You can see the big white cliffs at the top near the reservoirs with a thin layer of chert (I think).


We stayed at the Country Village Motel in Manti. The owner, Dirk, was friendly and interesting to talk to about his business ventures in San Francisco.
